Job summary

StarsOfTheShow is looking for an experienced IT Manager in Porto to oversee the company’s technology infrastructure and security. You will lead a team of IT professionals, set strategy, and ensure smooth operation across hardware, software, and networks.

The role requires strong leadership, problem-solving and communication skills, with responsibility for budgeting, vendor negotiations, and driving technology upgrades.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Proven experience as an IT Manager or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of network administration and security protocols.
• Experience managing a team of IT professionals.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of IT professionals and provide guidance and support
• Develop and implement technology strategies to improve efficiency and productivity
• Ensure the smooth operation of all technology systems, including hardware, software, and networks
• Oversee the installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of all IT equipment
• Monitor network security and implement necessary measures to protect against cyber threats
• Manage budget for technology expenses and negotiate with vendors for cost-effective solutions
• Stay up-to-date with advancements in technology and make recommendations for upgrades or new systems as needed
