Job summary

Continental is seeking an experienced SAP EDI specialist to join our IT Competence Center supporting Sales, Logistics and central functions. You will coordinate B2B integrations, configure SAP EDI, and drive S/4 HANA related projects across internal teams and external partners.

We value strong problem-solving, attention to detail, and fluency in English. A manufacturing background and project-management experience are a plus. Flexible working model and international environment offered.

Qualifications

• Academic degree or equivalent in a technical field.
• Experience coordinating B2B integrations.
• Comprehensive knowledge of SAP EDI and SAP SD; general SAP MM knowledge.
• Familiarity with EDI standards (EDIFACT, VDA, ANSI) and SAP EDI configurations.
• Experience in manufacturing or automotive sector is a plus.
• Project management skills and attention to detail.
• Professional working proficiency in English.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate new B2B implementations (time- and business-critical OE requests), SAP configuration, mapping design, and governance compliance.
• Support existing and new SAP-based solutions daily.
• Consult business on new and existing SAP solutions and enhancements.
• Lead EDI-specific projects and participate in cross-department initiatives (e.g., S/4 HANA).
• Continuously improve processes and technical solutions.
• Participate in industry conferences and contribute to future B2B standards.

In this exciting job you work on the following tasks:

• Coordinating new B2B implementations (especially time - and business - critical OE requests), handling SAP configuration, mapping specification design, communication with internal and external partners, ensuring compliance with internal rules, standards and governance;
• Supporting existing and new solutions on a daily basis;
• Consulting business for new and existing solutions;
• Leading EDI-specific projects and participating in cross-department projects (e.g., S/4 HANA);
• Continuous improvements of processes and technical solutions;
• Participating in conferences (e.g., VDA/ ODETTE), providing input for future B2B communication standards.

Qualifications

• Academic degree in Computer Science or another technical field / equivalent qualification;
• Multiple years of experience in coordinating B2B integrations;
• Comprehensive knowledge of SAP EDI, thorough functional knowledge of SAP SD and general functional knowledge of SAP MM;
• Comprehensive knowledge of EDI standards (e.g., EDIFACT, VDA, ANSI) as well as EDI configurations in SAP;
• Working experience in a manufacturing company, ideally automotive or automotive supplier sector (is a plus);
• Project management skills/ experience;
• Keen attention to detail;
• Professional working proficiency in English (written; spoken).
