Nortech is seeking a Backend & DevOps Engineer in Lisbon to maintain and evolve our IoT data platform. You will work across backend services and cloud infrastructure, using Node.js, Python, or Go while embracing a systems-thinking mindset.

In this role, you will manage AWS with Terraform, operate Kubernetes clusters, and ensure data integrity in PostgreSQL. Occasional React frontend support may be required as the product evolves.

Qualificações

• Proven experience building robust backend systems and APIs.
• Understanding of AWS, Terraform, and Kubernetes.
• Experience with relational databases, especially PostgreSQL.
• Ability to move between infrastructure tasks and backend code in polyglot environments.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and maintain the services and APIs powering the platform.
• Manage and scale AWS environment with Terraform; oversee Kubernetes clusters.
• Own PostgreSQL performance, queries, and data integrity.
• Maintain data pipelines to support IoT data flow to the cloud.
• Support React-based frontend dashboards when needed.
