Norfin, a leading Portuguese Real Estate Investment Manager, seeks a Portfolio Management - Investment Strategy Associate to drive strategic management of the portfolio’s investments in Lisbon. You will transform business plans into budgets, monitor performance and prepare investor materials, influencing decisions with robust analyses.

The role emphasizes financial modelling, data-driven insights, and collaboration across teams.

Qualificações

  • 3+ years FP&A or portfolio management experience.
  • Strong financial modelling and reporting skills.
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills mandatory.
  • Familiarity with VBA/Python and data tools valued.
  • ERP systems familiarity a plus (Cegid/Primavera).
  • Excellent communication and analytical abilities.
  • Fluent in English and Portuguese.
  • Interest in AI tools and data visualization helpful.

Responsabilidades

  • Translate approved business plans into detailed annual budgets and activity plans.
  • Monitor budget execution; identify deviations, risks and optimization opportunities.
  • Support re-underwriting processes and business plan revisions.
  • Consolidate and review monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting.
  • Ensure accuracy and usability of financial information for decision-making.
  • Prepare investor reports, management presentations and investment papers.
  • Develop forward-looking analyses and scenario modelling.
  • Support materials for investor meetings and committees.
  • Ensure data integrity across accounting, finance and asset management.
  • Review accounting entries with Finance teams.
  • Participate in month-end close processes and prepare supporting documentation.
  • Contribute to internal control and financial governance processes.
  • Develop and enhance financial models and performance tracking frameworks.
  • Improve reporting automation and introduce best-in-class analytical tools.
  • Support integration of AI-based tools and data visualization where relevant.
  • Mentor junior analysts when applicable.

Key responsibilities

  • Review accounting entries and financial statements in coordination with Finance teams
  • Participate in month-end closing processes and prepare supporting documentation
  • Contribute to internal control and financial governance processes
  • Develop and enhance financial models and performance tracking frameworks
  • Improve reporting automation and introduce best-in-class analytical tools
  • Support integration of AI-based tools and data visualization solutions where relevant
  • Support and guide junior analysts when applicable
Requirements
  • Undergraduate or master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Management, Accountancy or related fields.
  • 3+ years of experience FP&A or Portfolio Management, Top-tier audit firms, Transaction Services / Financial Due
  • Diligence, Strategy or financial consultancy, Real Estate investment management.
  • Proficiency in financial modelling.
  • Exceptional Excel and PowerPoint skills (mandatory).
  • Knowledge of VBA, Python or other data science tools proficiency (valued).
  • Familiarity with ERP systems (Cegid/Primavera) is a plus.
  • Familiarity with the integration of AI-based tools (e.g., ChatGPT, data visualization) into strategic decision-making (valued).
  • Strong analytical thinking and critical analysis skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and persuasively, both in writing and speech, across teams.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and a results-oriented mindset.
  • Fluent in English (C1 or above) and Portuguese.
