A Devoteam Portugal procura um Administrador VMware para manter e evoluir a infraestrutura de virtualização em ambientes corporativos. O candidato ideal terá experiência extensa com VMware vSphere, HPE Synergy/ProLiant e armazenamento de alto desempenho, assegurando disponibilidade, desempenho e segurança.

O profissional trabalhará em estreita colaboração com equipas de networking, segurança e aplicações, contribuindo para a melhoria contínua, automação e conformidade.

Qualificações

• 5+ anos de experiência na administração de ambientes VMware vSphere.
• 5+ anos de experiência a gerir infraestruturas HPE Synergy e HPE ProLiant.
• 3+ anos de experiência com soluções de storage empresariais (preferencialmente Pure Storage e Brocade SAN).
• Experiência com upgrades, patching, troubleshooting e lifecycle management.
• Experiência com automação de infraestruturas e processos de change management.

Responsabilidades

• Gerir, configurar, atualizar, aplicar patches e solucionar o ambiente VMware vSphere.
• Administrar ambientes HPE Synergy e ProLiant, incluindo instalação, configuração, manutenção e gestão de ciclo de vida.
• Gerir a infraestrutura de armazenamento, incluindo arrays Pure Storage e switches Brocade SAN.
• Garantir alta disponibilidade, desempenho, escalabilidade e segurança da plataforma de virtualização.
• Implementar mudanças de infraestrutura via automação aprovada e processos de change management.
• Aplicar políticas de segurança, normas de conformidade e melhores práticas.
• Monitorizar infraestrutura, planeamento de capacidade e tuning de desempenho.
• Apoiar DR, backup e continuidade de negócio.
• Colaborar com equipas de networking, segurança e aplicações para fornecer serviços de infraestrutura confiáveis.
• Participar na resolução de incidentes, análise de causa raiz e melhoria contínua.
• Manter documentação técnica precisa, procedimentos operacionais e padrões de infraestrutura.

Job Description

• Manage, configure, upgrade, patch, and troubleshoot VMware vSphere infrastructure.
• Administer HPE Synergy and ProLiant server environments, including installation, configuration, maintenance, and lifecycle management.
• Manage storage infrastructure, including Pure Storage arrays and Brocade SAN switches.
• Ensure high availability, performance, scalability, and security of the virtualization platform.
• Implement infrastructure changes through approved automation and change management processes.
• Apply security policies, compliance standards, and best practices across infrastructure platforms.
• Perform infrastructure monitoring, capacity planning, and performance tuning.
• Support disaster recovery, backup, and business continuity initiatives.
• Collaborate with networking, security, and application teams to deliver reliable infrastructure services.
• Participate in incident resolution, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain accurate technical documentation, operational procedures, and infrastructure standards.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience administering VMware vSphere environments.
• 5+ years of experience managing HPE Synergy and HPE ProLiant infrastructure.
• 3+ years of experience with enterprise storage solutions, preferably Pure Storage and Brocade SAN.
• Experience with infrastructure upgrades, patching, troubleshooting, and lifecycle management.
• Experience with infrastructure automation and change management processes.
• Strong knowledge of VMware vSphere, ESXi, vCenter, HA, DRS, and vMotion.
• Experience with HPE Synergy Composer, OneView, and ProLiant servers.
• Knowledge of Pure Storage administration and Brocade Fibre Channel SAN switching.
• Solid understanding of storage technologies, SAN architecture, and Fibre Channel networking.
• Good understanding of TCP/IP networking, VLANs, DNS, DHCP, and enterprise infrastructure services.
• Experience with infrastructure security, hardening, and compliance best practices.
• Familiarity with monitoring, performance tuning, and capacity planning tools.
