Colt is seeking an International Payroll Advisor to deliver accurate payrolls for the EMEA region across Spain and Portugal. The role is hybrid with Caparica, PT as a focus, reporting to the Team Lead Global Payroll.

You will be the SME for designated payrolls, manage updates, ensure legislative compliance, and liaise with global providers, HR, and treasury to ensure timely payroll funding.

Formación

• 4-5 years of experience in payroll operations.
• Recent operational payroll experience within EMEA.
• Experience processing international payrolls with global providers.
• Strong MS Excel and payroll systems proficiency.

Responsabilidades

• Act as SME for assigned EMEA payrolls and support Global Payroll Lead.
• Process payroll updates with high accuracy and adhere to deadlines.
• Ensure compliance with local labour laws affecting payroll.
• Be primary contact for employee payroll queries.
• Coordinate payroll funding with Treasury and close payroll cycles.
• Document processes with the Director Global Payroll and audit payroll output.

Why we need this role

To deliver accurate payrolls in the EMEA region and be the subject matter expert on assigned payrolls. To support the Global Payroll Lead in creating consistent and standard processes.

What you will do

• To be the subject matter expert on the assigned payrolls in EMEA region
• Process and communicate all payroll updates and changes with high levels of accuracy and attention to detail of manual payroll input
• To have a good understanding on local labour laws impacting payroll
• Ensure that data is received in line with established payroll formats and deadlines
• To be primary point of contact for employee queries in relation to designated payrolls
• Process payroll funding in each location – salaries and 3rd party payments in collaboration with the Treasury Team
• Handle payroll closing activities
• Maintain a detailed process documentation with the help of the Director Global Payroll for all EMEA payrolls
• Interact with the global payroll provider and sub-contractors if applicable
• Audit the payroll calculations and payroll output reports (G2N, Variance Report, payslips, payment files, etc). Identify, investigate and resolve discrepancies in payroll records
• Identify improvements, opportunities for process automation and implement any resultant changes
• Provide advice on best practices on routine as well as complex payroll transactions while ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and internal policies.
• Conduct regular checks to ensure the integrity of the payroll database, updating data as necessary and ensuring that the payroll database is working correctly
• Assist & co-operate in any internal or external audits / projects

What we are looking for Skills & Experience

• At least 4-5 years of experience working in payroll business
• Recent operational payroll experience within EMEA
• Processed international payrolls and worked with global payroll providers
• Strong payroll systems experience
• Excellent Microsoft Office skills, especially MS Excel
• Highly organised and able to effectively multi-task and prioritise workload

Qualifications

• CIPP (advantageous) or similar
• BA Diploma
