Responsibilities

• Design and validate end‑to‑end solutions for complex web and digital platforms
• Act as a local technical coordination layer between Portugal and international teams
• Define and govern integration patterns (APIs, asynchronous flows, frontend–backend interaction)
• Design applications and technical solutions
• Create new programs and develop existing programs
• Ensure and organize a smooth and easy deploy

Requirements

• University degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Engineering, or a comparable technical field
• 5+ years of relevant work experience in solution design for web and digital platforms
• Solid understanding of system architecture, APIs and integration patterns
• Expertise in Java technologies
• Experience with front‑end frameworks (plus)
• Strong knowledge of SQL (SQL Server/Oracle) and NoSQL databases
• Practical experience with cloud services
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Professional English (C1 level required in spoken and written)
• Effective communication with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders
• Strong collaboration skills within distributed and cross‑functional teams
• Proactive mindset with a high sense of ownership and accountability
• Structured approach to incident and problem management
• Ability to prioritize workload efficiently in a dynamic environment
• Must hold a valid work permit or EU/Schengen Space nationality to legally work in Portugal

Nice to have
