Job summary

Richemont Iberia SL is looking for an Integration Engineer to own the SAP CPI integration layer, designing, maintaining, and enhancing flows that connect our Canonical Data Model with backend and external systems.

The role begins with taking over existing CPI integrations and delivering enhancements to ensure production reliability. You will collaborate with QA, TAF, and API teams to publish Async APIs via Kong and advance the Omnichannel platform.

About the Team

Our team designs and delivers B2C Omnichannel Order Execution processes on SAP, integrated with external commerce platforms through an event-driven architecture (EDA).

The solution is built around a Solace message broker, which hosts the Canonical Data Model (CDM), and an SAP Cloud Platform Integration (CPI) layer that translates and orchestrates data flows between SAP and external systems.

Role Overview

We are looking for an Integration Engineer to own the SAP CPI integration layer. You will be responsible for designing, maintaining, and enhancing integration flows that connect our Canonical Data Model with backend and external systems.

A key initial objective will be to take ownership of existing integrations through a structured handover and quickly become productive in delivering enhancements and new capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the SAP CPI integration layer, including design, development, maintenance, and troubleshooting of integration flows and mappings.
• Take over and support existing CPI integrations, ensuring continuity and reliability.
• Deliver enhancements and new integrations as business needs evolve.
• Ensure Solace pub/sub interfaces are properly exposed and documented as Async APIs through Kong.
• Collaborate with QA and Test Automation teams to maintain adequate integration testing and regression coverage.
• Align with the Test Automation Factory (TAF) team to ensure clear testing responsibilities across integration and backend layers.
• Contribute to integration best practices, architecture decisions, and the ongoing evolution of the Omnichannel platform.
  

Technical Skills

• Strong knowledge of integration architectures, patterns, and technologies.
• Hands-on experience with SAP Cloud Platform Integration (CPI), including integration flow and mapping development.
• Solid understanding of event-driven architectures and message-based integrations.
• Experience with Solace or similar messaging platforms such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, or IBM MQ.
• Familiarity with API management platforms, preferably Kong, including Async API publication.
• Understanding of canonical data model and contract-based integration approaches.
• Experience with API testing tools such as Insomnia and Git-based development workflows (GitLab, GitHub) is desirable.

Education

No specific degree is required. However, candidates should demonstrate strong technical and logical reasoning skills. A scientific or technical background is preferred, though equivalent experience gained through professional work, personal projects, or self-directed learning will also be valued.
