Job summary

CloudLinux Inc. is seeking a Product Owner to lead a small, senior, fully remote squad that takes new product concepts from idea to a working MVP in customers' hands, then hands proven products to a product line and moves on to the next concept.

You will be accountable for the pipeline of ideas, the speed and rigour with which they are tested, and the evidence behind every go / no-go recommendation. This is a hands-on lead role, not pure people management: roughly 50% discovery and leadership

Qualifications

• 5+ years as a software engineer in a product company or startup.
• 2+ years leading a small team with people responsibility.
• Proven track record of taking a product from concept to first paying customers or pilots.
• Strong Linux proficiency at a software engineer level.
• Hands-on product discovery skills: customer interviews, assumption mapping, pricing experiments.

Responsibilities

• Lead the discovery and delivery pipeline, prioritizing bets and coordinating with the CPO.
• Define success criteria with measurable metrics and report progress weekly.
• Own the concept-to-MVP process with fixed timeboxes and customer validation.
• Provide technical direction: pick fastest credible build, review designs and code, ensure MVPs are production-ready.
• Lead a small distributed team: 1:1s, goal setting, hiring, and mentoring.
• Promote fast async work with written decisions and demos over status meetings.
