Dstny in Porto is seeking an Infrastructure & Platform Engineer to keep our platform reliable for millions of users. You will own operations across Linux and Windows, implement automation, and improve monitoring and logging to prevent outages.

You will work with Foreman/Orcharhino, RabbitMQ, and relational databases, documenting runbooks and best practices for the team. A strong focus on reliability and scalable systems is essential.

Qualificações

• Proven experience managing Linux in production environments.
• Experience with Windows Server (AD, DNS, DHCP, IIS).
• Experience with RabbitMQ and relational databases (MySQL/PostgreSQL).
• Familiarity with monitoring, automation and incident response.

The infrastructure behind 5M+ users doesn't get to have a bad day. We're hiring an Infrastructure & Platform Engineer in Porto to help keep it that way — Linux, Windows, RabbitMQ, and everything that has to just work.

The infrastructure you'll run doesn't get a bad day — it's what keeps calls connecting and conversations flowing for 5M+ users across 80+ markets. We're looking for an Infrastructure & Platform Engineer, based in Porto, to help keep our platform always on. You'll bring operational responsibility, a bias for automation, and pride in systems that are robust and well-documented.

What You'll Do

Systems Operations

• Manage and maintain Linux and Windows servers across multiple environments.
• Plan and execute OS upgrades, patching, and lifecycle management.

Platform & Automation

• Operate and improve configuration and orchestration tools, such as Foreman / Orcharhino.
• Contribute to automation of repetitive operational tasks — reducing toil, not just documenting it.

Reliability & Troubleshooting

• Troubleshoot production issues across systems, services, and integrations.
• Maintain and improve monitoring, logging, and alerting.

Messaging & Data

• Support and operate RabbitMQ-based messaging platforms.
• Support and operate SQL databases.

Documentation

• Create and maintain runbooks, SOPs, and operational documentation.

What We're Looking For

• Strong hands-on Linux system administration in production environments — packaging, patching, logs, performance, troubleshooting.
• Solid experience with Windows Server operations, including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, IIS, and certificates.

Lifecycle & Configuration Management

• Proven experience in server lifecycle management: OS upgrades, patch management, system hardening, decommissioning.
• Experience with configuration/orchestration tools such as Foreman, Orcharhino, or similar.

Messaging, Data & Network

• Practical experience operating RabbitMQ or similar messaging systems — queues, clustering, troubleshooting, performance.
• Practical experience operating databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MSSQL.
• Understanding of network fundamentals, load balancing, and service troubleshooting.

DNS, Certificates & Backup

• Experience with DNS management (internal and external) and certificate automation (ACME, Let's Encrypt).
• Familiarity with backup and restore solutions such as Veeam and TSM.

Monitoring

• Experience with monitoring and observability tools — Prometheus, Grafana, Elastic, or similar.

Nice to Have

• Exposure to Kubernetes or container platforms.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines or DevOps tooling.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).
