Job summary

India Abroad Publications Inc. seeks a skilled Civil Engineer to join our infrastructure projects team in Almada, Portugal.

You will manage site inspections, design plans, coordinate with contractors and ensure projects stay on schedule and within budget. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with at least 3 years of experience, is proficient in AutoCAD and related software, and can liaise with local authorities.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
Minimum of 3 years experience in managing infrastructure projects.
Proficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant software.
Excellent communication skills and strong project management.
Experience working with local authorities is desirable.

Responsibilities

Conduct site inspections to assess feasibility of proposed projects.
Prepare project plans and designs according to client requirements.
Coordinate with contractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials.
Manage project timelines and ensure projects are completed within budget.
Obtain necessary permits from local authorities.
Communicate project progress to clients on a regular basis.
Identify potential risks or issues that may impact project completion.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations on construction sites.
