Adentis Portugal is seeking an IT System Engineer to provide technical support and maintenance for the company's IT infrastructure. This role involves troubleshooting issues, collaborating on IT solutions, and ensuring the security of IT systems.

The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, strong knowledge of Azure cloud services, and proficiency in English and German. This position requires on-site work two to three times per week.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support and maintenance for the company's IT infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues promptly.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement IT solutions.
• Ensure the security and integrity of the IT systems and data.
• Manage and monitor cloud-based services, with a focus on Azure.
• Perform regular system backups and ensure data recovery procedures are in place.
• Evaluate and recommend system improvements and optimizations.
• Assist in the planning and execution of IT projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Proven experience as an IT System Engineer or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of Azure cloud services.
• Proficiency in English and German, both written and spoken.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Familiarity with network infrastructure, virtualization, and server administration.
• European Union Citizenship or Portuguese Working Visa / Portuguese Residency.
• Availability to work on-site two to three times per week.
