Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Manager to lead our internal IT infrastructure team. This role requires a strong technical understanding of cloud and on‑premise infrastructure, with a focus on secure operations and service reliability. The ideal candidate will possess excellent people‑leadership skills and foster a positive working culture aligned with our people‑first values.
This role can be fully remote within Portugal, however being able to attend some meetings in our Lisbon office would be a plus.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the infrastructure team
- Ensure secure, reliable, and scalable infrastructure operations across cloud and hybrid environments.
- Develop and implement infrastructure strategies aligned with business goals and security standards.
- Oversee the design, deployment, and lifecycle management of infrastructure services including Azure, Active Directory, networking, and virtualization.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure infrastructure supports business needs and performance requirements.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement, knowledge sharing, and operational excellence.
- Mentor and develop team members, fostering a collaborative and inclusive work environment.
- Manage vendor relationships and service contracts related to infrastructure services.
- Ensure compliance with IT policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in infrastructure management with a focus on cloud technologies (Azure).
- Strong understanding of networking, virtualization, identity management, and security principles.
- Proven leadership experience with the ability to inspire and guide technical teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with Microsoft Azure services including IaaS, PaaS, Active Directory, and networking.
- Knowledge of ITIL practices and project management methodologies.
Preferred Certifications
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ‑305)
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate (AZ‑500)
- ITIL Foundation Certification or higher
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or PRINCE2 Certification
