Sidul Açúcares in Lisbon, Portugal, is seeking an Electrical Engineer to support the Electrical, Instrument and Automation team in the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of the plant electrical network.

You will lead the Electrical and Instruments maintenance team, manage projects with internal teams or suppliers, uphold safety and quality standards, develop preventive maintenance schedules, and drive asset health and KPI achievement in a collaborative industrial environment.

Qualificações

Electrical/Automation Engineering degree required.
Minimum 3 years in an industrial environment.
Experience with power generation, control techniques and system analysis.
Familiar with Variable Speed Drives and PLCs.
Able to assist in electrical network sizing studies.
Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methods.
Fluent in English.

Responsabilidades

Lead and develop the Electrical and Instrument maintenance team with management.
Design and implement electrical projects with internal teams or suppliers.
Adhere to budget requirements.
Assist in updating the electrical system to current standards.
Develop preventive maintenance schedules and spare parts strategies.
Enforce inspections per official certifications.
Participate in process teams and drive asset health improvement and production stability.
Achieve agreed KPIs.
Manage outsourcing contracts and their KPIs.
Ensure production with Quality, Food Safety and Authenticity.
Promote Culture of Quality, Food Safety, Occupational Safety, and Environmental Sustainability.
