Job summary

SBM Offshore N.V. is seeking an experienced Integrated Control and Safety Systems (ICSS) Engineer to support offshore units and FPSO/FSO control systems.

You will handle ICSS in Fire & Gas, Cause & Effect, and cybersecurity, ensuring compliance with our standards. Responsibilities include managing Change processes, developing offshore training, reliability studies, and contributing to digital projects using OSIsoft PI and related tools.

Qualifications

• 10+ years experience as ICSS/Control System Engineer in Oil & Gas.
• Expertise in PCS7 and ICSS modifications.
• Experience with Management of Change and Risk Assessments.

Responsibilities

• Oversee ICSS, Safety Instrumented Functions, and cybersecurity change processes.
• Implement robust ICSS controls to prevent unauthorized modifications.
• Assess and develop training for offshore control system personnel.
• Collaborate with Fleet HR to improve ICSS competency offshore.
• Participate in reliability studies and define maintenance philosophies for ICSS.
• Support digital projects and data applications (OSIsoft PI, Matrikon Alarm Manager, control performance monitoring).
• Lead implementation and maintenance of cybersecurity systems for OT.
• Provide input for Root Cause Analyses of ICSS failures and remediation actions.
• Prepare scopes of work, align specifications, manage procurement, and ensure vendor mobilization for offshore activities.
