Job summary

Komodo Consulting in Lisbon is seeking an experienced SQL Developer to join a technology project. You will develop and maintain stored procedures, functions, and advanced queries to support business needs.

You will tune performance, optimize existing queries, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure database reliability. Hybrid work model: 2 days per week in the office, English and Portuguese fluency required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience with SQL Server.
• Proven knowledge in creating Stored Procedures, Functions, and advanced queries.
• Experience in database tuning and performance optimization in SQL Server.
• Experience with DevOps practices (preferred).
• Fluency in English (B2 or above) and Portuguese.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Stored Procedures and Functions in SQL Server.
• Write and optimize advanced queries to support business needs.
• Perform database tuning and performance optimization on SQL Server environments.
• Support the optimization of existing queries and Stored Procedures.
