AMGEN Capability Center Portugal is seeking a SIEM Engineer to design and deploy a robust security monitoring strategy across data, systems, and networks. You will collaborate with IT teams to embed monitoring across the tech stack and support incident response with comprehensive SIEM data.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in security monitoring, detection engineering, and cloud-hosted infrastructure, with strong scripting skills in Python or Bash.

Qualificações

• Master's or Bachelor's or Diploma in Information Systems or related field as listed.
• Proven track-record in security monitoring and detection engineering practices.
• Strong knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks, technologies, and best practices.
• Understanding of security architecture frameworks and principles.

Responsabilidades

• Configure and maintain SIEM and Security Data Lake components, including log collection, ingestion, parsing, and normalization.
• Monitor the health and performance of SIEM/SDL components; troubleshoot issues and document findings.
• Implement and test log source integrations and configuration changes based on defined requirements.
• Validate log data quality and develop/tune detection rules, dashboards, and reports.
• Support incident investigations with relevant SIEM data and coordinate with owners/support teams.
• Maintain documentation and support audits; identify recurring issues and propose improvements.
