AMGEN Capability Center Portugal in Lisbon is seeking a SIEM Engineer to develop and implement the organization's security monitoring strategy, safeguarding data, systems, and networks. You will design architecture, deploy monitoring, and collaborate with IT teams to ensure coverage across the tech stack.

The role emphasizes strong cybersecurity expertise, leadership, and experience managing large-scale monitoring programs, with a hybrid work model split between the Lisbon office and remote work.

Qualificações

• Master’s degree with 1–2 years in Information Systems or related field.
• Bachelor’s degree with 2–3 years in Information Systems or related field.
• Diploma with 3–4 years in Information Systems or related field.
• Proven track-record in security monitoring and detection engineering.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and best practices.
• Understanding of security architecture frameworks and principles.

Responsabilidades

• Configure and maintain SIEM and SDL components, including log collection and parsing.
• Monitor health and performance of SIEM/SDL; troubleshoot and document findings.
• Implement log source integrations and configuration changes per requirements.
• Validate log data quality; develop and tune detection rules and dashboards.
• Support incident investigations with relevant SIEM data and coordination.
• Maintain documentation and advocate practical monitoring improvements.
