Job summary

Itaú Europe in Lisbon seeks a Reconciliation Analyst to join the Reconciliation team. You will handle daily and month-end bank reconciliations, derivatives and funds reconciliations, and generate reports. Hybrid work and a 12-month contract with renewal are offered.

Candidates should have reconciliation experience in banking, strong Excel skills, and fluency in English. International operations and collaboration with multiple stakeholders are part of the role.

Qualifications

• Experience in reconciliation areas, preferably in a banking environment with international operations.
• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
• Knowledge of Private Banking products and services is a plus.
• Knowledge of the GT Match reconciliation tool is a plus.
• Knowledge of the Temenos platform is a plus.
• Fluency in English and good communication skills.
• High attention to detail and ability to identify errors.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines; team player with multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Reconciliation of daily cash and securities positions.
• Regular derivatives reconciliation.
• Funds reconciliation (holdings and valuations).
• Control of transitory account balances.
• Generation of daily, weekly, and month-end reports and KPIs.
• Creation and maintenance of appropriate procedures and process documentation.
