Hexa Consulting is seeking a QA Automation Tester for a hybrid role in Trofa, Portugal, supporting validation of internal solutions and software integrations within the healthcare sector. The role involves designing and executing automated tests across SaaS and service-based environments, working with cross-functional teams to raise quality standards.

The candidate should have mid-level QA automation experience, a related engineering degree, and solid English proficiency.

Qualificações

• Mid-level experience in QA automation, with autonomy to define and execute testing activities in different delivery contexts.
• Degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Professional working proficiency in English, equivalent to B1/B2 level.
• Experience testing internal projects, software integrations and implementation initiatives.
• Ability to assess when testing is required and when it is not, considering risk, scope and delivery context.
• Collaborative, responsible and solution-oriented mindset, with the maturity to support team direction without requiring formal team leadership experience.
• Preferred availability within approximately 30 days.

Responsabilidades

• Design, execute and optimize automated tests according to the needs of each functional and technical context.
• Analyze software changes, integrations and internal implementations to identify the most relevant testing approach.
• Support testing activities across SaaS and service-based environments, ensuring that validation efforts are proportionate and effective.
• Collaborate with technical and functional teams to improve quality practices and contribute to reliable software delivery.
• Share QA knowledge with the team, helping to guide testing decisions and promote structured validation practices.
