HumanIT Digital Consulting is seeking a Techno-Functional QA Engineer (API/Test Automation) for a hybrid Porto role. You will work across functional testing, backend and API validation, defect management, and release validation within a trading systems environment.

The ideal candidate brings 3–5 years in software testing, strong knowledge of BDD, test automation frameworks, and hands-on Linux, Jenkins, Git, Python, and Shell scripting. Fluent English and Portuguese are required.

Qualificações

• 3–5 years of experience in software testing or QA roles.
• Experience in functional testing, defect management and traceability.
• Experience in banking/financial markets environments.
• Knowledge of BDD and test automation frameworks.
• Hands-on with Linux, Jenkins and Git.
• Python and Shell scripting experience.
• Database management in testing environments.
• Fluent English and Portuguese (written and spoken).

Responsabilidades

• Perform functional testing, backend and API validation.
• Manage defects, generate test reports and ensure traceability.
• Develop and run test automation and perform regression testing.
• Support release validation for trading systems.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts and QA peers.
