Job summary

Thales Portugal is seeking a Project Engineering Delivery Manager to lead complex system engineering programs within the Airspace Mobility Solutions team in Paço de Arcos. You will coordinate engineering resources, monitor schedules and budgets, and drive technical decisions across multidisciplinary teams.

The role requires a degree in Computer Engineering or similar, at least five years as a Technical Manager, fluent English, and willingness to travel. Hybrid work arrangement applies.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Engineering or similar.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as Technical Manager.
• Knowledge of System Engineering and System Development Lifecycles.
• Ability to coordinate technical teams.
• Good command of English.
• Availability to travel.

Responsibilities

• Knowledge of system engineering and system/software development lifecycles.
• Strong organisational and planning skills, detail oriented, and the ability to handle multiple priorities.
• The ability to overlook complex situations and to manage multi-task environments.
• Ability to manage and coordinate engineering resources and technical teams.
• Ability to monitor and track technical activities (e.g. engineering schedule and KPIs), allocated budget and associated risks and opportunities.
