Job summary

Thales in Portugal seeks a Project Manager to lead air traffic management projects, coordinating with customers and global teams to ensure on-time delivery.

You will manage scope, risk, and budget, align with governance, and travel as required to satisfy client needs. The role requires a degree and 5+ years of PM experience.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Information Systems, IT or related field.
• 5+ years as Project Manager or Bid Manager.
• Strong knowledge of project management and systems engineering.
• Proven leadership and stakeholder management.
• English proficiency and willingness to travel.
• IPMA or equivalent certification is nice to have.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end project delivery on air traffic management projects.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams, subcontractors and global engineering teams.
• Build strong relationships with customers and stakeholders.
• Monitor project performance, risks and governance compliance.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and growth.
• Support bid/proposal activities with high-quality project plans.
