Devoteam Porto is seeking an experienced Oracle Database Administrator to manage and maintain Oracle 12c/19c databases in production environments. The role focuses on availability, performance, and reliability, with responsibilities spanning monitoring, tuning, and incident resolution.

You will administer installations, patches, upgrades, backups, and recoveries using RMAN and Commvault, monitor via OEM, and ensure GDPR compliance.

Qualificações

• Strong expertise in Oracle Database 12c/19c and related tools.
• Experience with RMAN, ASM, Data Guard, and ODA.
• Proficiency with Commvault backups and Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM).
• Solid Unix/Linux administration and scripting capabilities.
• Proven experience in production/high-availability environments.
• Knowledge of GDPR and database security requirements.

Job Description

• Manage and maintain Oracle 12c/19c databases, including ODA-X9, Oracle Standalone, ASM, and Data Guard, in critical production environments.
• Ensure database availability, performance, reliability, and operational stability.
• Perform daily monitoring, performance tuning, troubleshooting, and incident resolution.
• Administer database installations, patching, upgrades, backups, and recovery using RMAN and Commvault.
• Monitor Oracle environments through Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM).
• Maintain high-availability and disaster-recovery solutions, including Oracle Data Guard.
• Ensure database security, access control, encryption, and GDPR compliance.
• Support migrations, deployments, upgrades, and other technical projects.
• Standardize and document operational procedures.
• Drive proactive monitoring, automation, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Strong expertise in Oracle Database 12c/19c.
• Hands-on experience with RMAN, ASM, Data Guard, and ODA.
• Experience with Commvault backup and restore.
• Proficiency in Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM).
• Strong Unix/OEL Linux administration and scripting skills.
• Proven experience in production and high-availability environments.
• Strong troubleshooting and performance-tuning capabilities.
• Knowledge of database security, compliance, and GDPR requirements.
• Experience with database migrations, upgrades, and deployments.
• Proactive approach to automation, monitoring, and service improvement.
