IT House in Porto is seeking an IT Infrastructure & Systems Engineer to join a direct placement with an end client in the Transport & Logistics sector. You will plan and operate monitoring tools for global IT infrastructure and support Linux environments with DNS/DHCP services.

Candidates hold a degree in Computer Science or equivalent, and have knowledge of Linux server systems; familiarity with Ansible and monitoring tools is advantageous.

Qualificações

• Degree in Computer Science or comparable IT training.
• Knowledge of Linux server systems is desirable.
• Experience with monitoring tools and automation frameworks ( Ansible) is an advantage.
• Some initial practical experience in planning and operating core network services is a plus.
• Strong service orientation and high level of commitment.
• Good knowledge of English.

Responsabilidades

• Plan and operate tools for monitoring global IT infrastructure;
• Provide worldwide support and contribute to the ongoing development of centralized and decentralized Linux environments, with a focus on core network services (DNS/DHCP);
• Support email and web proxy services, with a focus on content security;
• Participate in IT projects in close collaboration with other teams;
• Act as second-level support and a central point of contact for service-related questions;
• Continuously optimize and expand the range of services offered.
