Job summary

DOJO seeks a data platform engineer to own ingestion, transformation, quality, and delivery at scale in Lisbon. You’ll shape the graph-based semantic layer powering AI agents and product features, turning messy signals into reliable data.

You’ll collaborate with the founders, AI engineers, and product teams to accelerate experimentation, enforce data quality standards, and design scalable pipelines. The role offers meaningful equity and a hybrid setup in Lisbon.

Qualifications

• Proven experience building and operating production data infra.
• Experience with data mesh, data vault, data quality, governance.
• Strong Python skills and experience with Dagster, Polars, DuckDB.
• Eye for data quality and scale as an engineering problem.
• CS or Engineering background; exceptional candidates welcome.

Responsibilities

• Own the data platform end-to-end: ingestion, transformation, quality, delivery at scale.
• Build the graph-based semantic layer bridging unstructured signals with structured data.
• Establish and enforce data quality: schema validation and monitoring.
• Work with founders, AI engineers, and product teams for fast feature iteration.
• Close the AI-data loop: keep data fresh for AI systems and models.
• Help shape engineering culture through code reviews and architecture decisions.
