SIXT is seeking a data engineer to join our central BI team in Lisbon. You will help design and build the SIXT Data Shop data platform, focusing on scalable data models, ELT automation, and production-grade data workflows.

You will work with Data Engineers, BI Analysts, and Data Scientists to deliver dashboards, data products, and ML endpoints while ensuring data quality and security in a fast-paced, international environment. The role offers a hybrid setup and access to advanced AI tools.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or related field with 3+ years in data engineering.
• Experience designing scalable data models and end-to-end ELT automation from sources to dashboards.
• Hands-on with AWS data stack (S3, Glue, Lambda, IAM) and Redshift.
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, and distributed systems with best practices.

Responsabilidades

• Drive innovations using current AWS and big data tech to enable new capabilities for the SIXT Data Shop.
• Collaborate with Data Engineers, BI Analysts, and Data Scientists on analytics use cases.
• Shape Data Platform vision and roadmap with strong ownership and curiosity.
• Maintain data integrity and data protection across sensitive customer data.
