Inetum is seeking a COBOL Developer to join a team maintaining Custody Services applications in an international banking environment. You will help stabilize and evolve key business systems.

3–5 years in Mainframe development, strong COBOL (IBM Developer for z/OS), DB2 and SQL, and JCL are required. MQSeries is a plus. English B2 mandatory; French a plus. Hybrid on-site/remote work in Lisbon area.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years of experience in software development, preferably Mainframe environments.
• Hands-on COBOL (IBM Developer for z/OS) experience.
• Solid knowledge of DB2 and SQL.
• Experience with JCL.
• Knowledge of MQSeries is considered a plus.
• Experience with application maintenance, enhancements, and support activities.
• Ability to produce technical documentation and perform technical analysis.
• Experience with unit testing and validation of developments.

• Develop, maintain, and enhance existing Mainframe applications.
• Perform technical analysis and propose appropriate solutions for business and technical requirements.
• Produce and maintain technical documentation.
• Estimate effort and complexity for development and maintenance activities.
• Execute unit testing and ensure the quality of delivered solutions.
• Support incident resolution and application maintenance activities.
• Collaborate with an international team focused on the stability and continuous improvement of critical services.
