Job summary

DataSmart is seeking a Cloud Automation Developer to design, build, and maintain Terraform modules and automation for Azure in a hybrid Lisbon setting. You will develop backend services, REST APIs, and CI/CD pipelines, ensuring secure, governed cloud solutions and scalable automation across environments.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience in cloud environments.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure and secure, governed cloud solutions.
• Proficient with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code modules.
• Experience with Java and Spring for backend integration.
• Hands-on with CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions or similar.
• Knowledge of cloud security, IAM, governance, and secrets management.
• Experience integrating APIs across Azure, GitHub, ServiceNow, and identity services.
• Scripting with PowerShell or comparable language for automation.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain reusable Terraform modules and IaC templates.
• Build full‑stack self‑service apps, backend services, and REST APIs.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment.
• Integrate Azure services with GitHub, ServiceNow, and identity platforms.
• Implement cloud security, policy enforcement, and secrets management.
• Develop automated tests for applications, APIs, infrastructure, and cloud services.
• Support data processing and analytics services, ensuring reliability and security.
• Provide production support and continuous improvement of cloud automation products.
