Job summary

Decskill is seeking an Application Support professional for a Hybrid project in Porto. The role requires strong Linux/Windows proficiency, Oracle database knowledge, and experience with scheduling tools such as BMC/Control-M.

You will use scripting (Shell, Python, or PowerShell) and BI tools to monitor, debug, and optimize batch workloads for client systems. Ideal candidates have at least 3 years in similar roles, good communication skills, and familiarity with Jira/Confluence.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in similar roles.
• Good communication skills (oral and written).
• Proficiency in both Linux and Windows environments.
• Some knowledge with BMC/Control-M or other industrial scheduler.
• Some knowledge of scripting languages (Shell, Python and/or PowerShell).
• Proficiency with Oracle database and fundamental SQL understanding.
• Experience with monitoring tools and error debugging.
• Knowledge with Power BI.
• Experience with Jira and Confluence.
• French is a plus.
