BAUF Portugal is seeking an HVAC Documentation Engineer to ensure documentation quality, project compliance, and clear technical communication across HVAC projects.

You will prepare, review, and maintain HVAC documentation, develop data sheets and O&M manuals, and coordinate with manufacturers on drawings and CAD updates. This role emphasizes strict document control and regulatory alignment.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC Engineering, or related technical field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in technical documentation control or related roles.
• Strong English communication; Portuguese regulation knowledge is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare, review, and maintain comprehensive HVAC technical documentation.
• Develop data sheets, O&M manuals, and commissioning reports.
• Coordinate with manufacturers and edit/update CAD drawings in AutoCAD (BIM/Revit a plus).
• Ensure EDMS document control and versioning accuracy across projects.

We are seeking a skilled HVAC Documentation Engineer to play a key role in ensuring technical documentation quality, project compliance, and effective technical communication across HVAC projects.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Documentation

• Prepare, review, and maintain comprehensive HVAC technical documentation
• Develop data sheets, Operation & Maintenance (O&M) manual
• Prepare commissioning reports, technical and service manual
• Compile and manage material submittals

As-Built Drawings & Schematic

• Coordinate with manufacturers regarding project drawing
• Work with CAD drawings and technical schematic
• Independently edit and update drawings in CAD

Quality & Compliance

• Ensure documentation compliance with Portuguese regulation
• Adhere to EU standards and project-specific requirement
• Verify technical data and documentation received from suppliers and factories

Document Control & Archiving

• Manage documentation through an Electronic Document Management System (EDMS
• Track document revisions and ensure version control accuracy
• Ensure the project team always has access to the latest document version
• Continuously monitor and update documentation based on manufacturer change

Requirements Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC Engineering or a related technical field

Experience

• Minimum 2 years of experience in technical documentation control or related roles

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD (BIM/Revit experience is a strong advantage)Strong command of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Experience with document control systems / EDMS platforms

English – strong technical proficiency (required))
