Michael Page seeks an HR Team Leader to head the HR Shared Services in Santarém, overseeing payroll, employee lifecycle management, onboarding, offboarding, and recruitment administration within a multinational Global Business Services environment.

You will drive SLAs, standardise processes, and lead transformation initiatives using SAP SuccessFactors and SAP HCM to enhance accuracy, service quality, and operational performance across HR services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leadership: Lead, coach, and develop the HR Shared Services team, fostering a high-performance culture and ensuring the achievement of operational goals and service standards;
• Operations: Oversee end-to-end HR processes, including payroll administration, employee master data management, onboarding, offboarding, and recruitment administration activities;
• Service Excellence: Ensure the consistent delivery of Service Level Agreements (SLAs), maintaining high levels of accuracy, responsiveness, compliance, and customer satisfaction across HR services;
• Transformation: Drive process improvement and HR transformation initiatives, leveraging best practices and HR systems to enhance efficiency, standardisation, and operational performance;

Profile

What you bring:

• Experience: Proven experience in HR Operations, Payroll, and Shared Services environments, ideally within a multinational, GBS, SSC, or BPO organisation managing multi-country processes;
• Systems: Hands-on experience with SAP SuccessFactors and SAP HCM, combined with a solid understanding of HR systems, data management, and process optimisation;
• Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead, develop, and motivate teams, driving performance, accountability, and a culture of continuous improvement;
• Communication: Fluent English skills with good stakeholder management, communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal abilities; additional European languages are considered an advantage;
