Job summary

ITSector is seeking a driven Learning & Development professional based in Porto to identify training needs, plan programs, and manage external partners. You will measure outcomes with KPIs, report on learning data, and drive adoption of LMS and digital learning tools.

Ideal candidates have 2–4 years in related roles, strong English, and solid Excel/data skills to support a tech/consulting environment with a focus on innovative, AI-powered learning solutions.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years in Learning & Development, Training Coordination or similar roles.
• Professional proficiency in English.
• Experience planning, coordinating and monitoring training programs, ideally in IT/tech/consulting.
• Ability to identify learning needs and translate them into development solutions.
• Strong project management and vendor management skills.
• Advanced Excel skills and data reporting, KPIs, and learning analytics.
• Experience with LMS and digital learning platforms.
• Interest in Generative AI and its learning applications.
• Excellent communication, presentation and facilitation skills.
• Highly organized with a proactive, improvement mindset.

Responsibilities

• Identify and analyze training needs in coordination with areas of the organization.
• Research, select, and manage relationships with external suppliers and training partners.
• Plan, organize, and coordinate internal and external training activities.
• Coordinate upskilling and reskilling initiatives as per business needs.
• Ensure administrative training process management.
• Track and report learning metrics, participation rates and data updates.
• Explore innovative learning solutions and AI-powered learning technologies.
• Contribute to building an innovative culture of continuous learning.

Job description

• Academic degree in Human Resources;
• 2 to 4 years of experience in Learning & Development, Training Coordination, Talent Development, or similar roles;
• Professional proficiency in English;
• Experience planning, coordinating and monitoring training programs, ideally within IT, technology, or consulting environments;
• Ability to identify learning needs and translate them into effective development solutions;
• Strong project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple initiatives simultaneously;
• Experience managing training vendors, learning partners and external training providers;
• Advanced Excel skills and confidence working with data, reporting, KPIs and learning analytics;
• Experience using Learning Management Systems (LMS) and digital learning platforms;
• Interest in emerging learning technologies, Generative AI and their applications in learning and skills development;
• Excellent communication, presentation and facilitation skills;
• Highly organized, detail-oriented and results-driven;
• Proactive attitude, continuous improvement mindset and passion for learning.

Main Responsibilities
