Job summary

Hiire supports Bauer Media Audio Portugal in finding a temporary HR Generalist to join its People & Culture team in Lisbon. This maternity cover fixed-term contract offers a role shaping HR processes, employee experience and analytics, with scope to implement improvements rather than just maintain operations.

You will handle payroll-adjacent tasks, HR records, onboarding, performance cycles and analytics, partnering with leaders and employees across the organization.

Qualifications

• Fluent Portuguese and English; strong communication and stakeholder management

At Hiire, we are supporting Bauer Media in the search for a temporary HR Generalist to join their team. This role will play a key part in strengthening and improving HR processes, ensuring their efficiency and contributing to a positive employee experience.

We're looking for an experienced HR Generalist to join our People & Culture team on a maternity cover fixed-term contract. You'll become a trusted partner to employees and leaders, supporting a broad HR agenda that spans operations, analytics, learning initiatives and people projects. Your Role

The Skills You Will Bring

Essential

• Experience working within HR Generalist, HR Operations or People & Culture functions.
• 3-5+ years of relevant HR experience or demonstrable equivalent capability.
• Experience in either HR Analytics/Compensation or Learning & Development/Training.
• Strong communication, organisation and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluent Portuguese and a good command of English.

Desirable

• Skills gap analysis experience.
• Training facilitation or workshop delivery.
• Exposure to HR systems and workforce reporting.
• Experience supporting organisational development initiatives.

Working pattern / location

This role is based in Lisbon and follows a hybrid working model: 4 days in the office and 1 from home. This is a permanent fixed-term position.
