Minor Hotels Europe & Americas in Lagos, Portugal is seeking a Cook (M/F) to prepare, cook, and present high-quality dishes that deliver an excellent guest experience.

You will manage mise-en-place, maintain quality and presentation, and ensure proper storage with FIFO practices. The role requires 1–2 years of kitchen experience, vocational hospitality training, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Qualificações

• 1–2 years of kitchen experience, preferably in a hotel
• Vocational training in hospitality/F&B/kitchen
• Fluency in local language; English helpful

Responsabilidades

• Elaborate, organize and maintain mise-en-place for each service, minimizing waste.
• Guarantee presentation, quantity and quality of each dish according to standards.
• Check storage, monitor age/condition of food, rotate items (FIFO).
• Receive, store and organize incoming products for departure.
• Maintain a clean, neat and well-organized work area.
• Report maintenance, hygiene and hazards as needed.
• Support departmental targets as part of the team.
• Follow health regulations (HACCP) and customer service guidelines.
