Medvisit SL is seeking a Home Care Physician to provide medical services to international tourists in Lisbon. You will see patients at their accommodations, conduct assessments, and manage prescriptions while having the flexibility of a freelance engagement. A medical degree recognized in Portugal, fluency in English and Portuguese, and at least two years of clinical experience are required. The role offers competitive compensation and exposure to interesting international cases.

Qualificações

• Medical degree recognized in Portugal and an active license with Ordem dos Médicos.
• Minimum 2 years clinical experience in general medicine, emergency, or internal medicine.
• Access to transportation across Lisbon for patient visits.

Responsabilidades

• Provide on-site diagnosis and treatment for patients with travel-related conditions.
• Conduct emergency assessments and manage prescriptions.
• Coordinate hospital referrals when necessary.

Tasks

• What you'll do:
• See patients with common travel-related conditions, at their accommodation across Lisbon. Conduct thorough assessments, prescribe when needed, and coordinate hospital referrals for cases that require it — all supported by our platform, which takes care of the admin. In summary you would able to do:

• Prescription Management
• Minor Medical Procedures
• Hospital Referral

Requirements

• What we're looking for:
• Medical degree recognised in Portugal, active licence with the Ordem dos Médicos
• Fluent English (C1+) and Portuguese
• At least 2 years of clinical experience in general medicine, emergency or internal medicine
• Flexibility for on-call shifts including evenings and weekends
• Registered as autonomous professional (Recibo Verde) or willing to do so
• Own professional liability insurance
• Access to transportation across Lisbon
