MedVisit is seeking a Home Care Physician to see patients at their accommodation across Lisbon, delivering on-site diagnosis and treatment with a patient-first approach.

You will assess, prescribe when needed, and coordinate hospital referrals through our platform. Fluent English and Portuguese are required, with at least 2 years of clinical experience. This freelance role offers flexible scheduling and competitive per-visit compensation.

Qualificações

• Must hold a medical degree recognised in Portugal.
• Active medical licence with the Ordem dos Médicos is required.
• Fluency in English (C1+) and Portuguese is required.

Responsabilidades

• Provide on-site diagnosis and treatment at patients' accommodation across Lisbon.
• Perform thorough assessments and prescribe when needed.
• Coordinate hospital referrals through the MedVisit platform.
• Support patients with care plans and follow-up as appropriate.

What you’ll do:

See patients with common travel-related conditions, at their accommodation across Lisbon. Conduct thorough assessments, prescribe when needed, and coordinate hospital referrals for cases that require it — all supported by our platform, which takes care of the admin. What we’re looking for:

Medical degree recognised in Portugal, active licence with the Ordem dos Médicos Fluent English (C1+) and Portuguese At least 2 years of clinical experience in general medicine, emergency or internal medicine Flexibility for on-call shifts including evenings and weekends Registered as autonomous professional (Recibo Verde) or willing to do so Own professional liability insurance Access to transportation across Lisbon Benefits
