MedVisit in Lisbon connects physicians with patients at their hotel or home, delivering medical care on-site while clinicians focus on treatment. This fully flexible freelance role lets you see patients across Lisbon with a platform that handles administration.

You'll assess, treat common travel-related conditions, order referrals when needed, and contribute to a premium international healthcare experience.

Qualificações

• Medical degree recognised in Portugal.
• Active licence with the Ordem dos Médicos.
• Fluent English (C1+) and Portuguese.
• At least 2 years of clinical experience in general medicine, emergency or internal medicine.

Responsabilidades

• See patients with common travel-related conditions, at their accommodation across Lisbon.
• Conduct thorough assessments, prescribe when needed, and coordinate hospital referrals for cases that require it — all supported by our platform, which takes care of the admin.
• On-site diagnosis and treatment, emergency assessment, prescription management, minor procedures and hospital referrals.

At MedVisit, we bring the consultation to the patient — at their hotel, their apartment, their door. You focus on the medicine. We handle the rest. We offer a premium healthcare experience to international tourists, expatriates and digital nomads visiting Lisbon who feel vulnerable due to illness while away from their home country.

What you'll do:

• See patients with common travel-related conditions, at their accommodation across Lisbon.
• Conduct thorough assessments, prescribe when needed, and coordinate hospital referrals for cases that require it — all supported by our platform, which takes care of the admin.

What we’re looking for:

• Medical degree recognised in Portugal, active licence with the Ordem dos Médicos Fluent English (C1+) and Portuguese
• At least 2 years of clinical experience in general medicine, emergency or internal medicine
• Flexibility for on-call shifts including evenings and weekends
• Registered as autonomous professional (Recibo Verde) or willing to do so
• Own professional liability insurance
• Access to transportation across Lisbon
