Job summary

Diaverum AB in Torres Vedras is seeking a Hemodialysis Nurse (m/f) to join our Torres Vedras clinic and provide nursing care across clinical settings.

We offer an initial and ongoing training programme in dialysis techniques, professional development and career progression within a multidisciplinary team delivering high-quality patient care. Fluency in Portuguese and a valid nursing licence are required.

Qualifications

• Nursing degree and a valid professional nursing licence.
• Fluency in Portuguese.
• Experience in dialysis techniques is not strictly required.
• Knowledge of quality management systems.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care across the different clinical settings within the clinic.
• Ensure the implementation of quality and safety standards based on best clinical practice and evidence-based care.
• Accurately document nursing interventions in a timely manner.
• Promote patient and family empowerment, autonomy and adherence to treatment.
• Communicate effectively with patients and their families.
• Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives, training and professional development activities.
• Contribute to the organisation and management of the nursing team's workload and activities.
