Job summary

Diaverum in Estoril, Portugal, seeks a Nurse (m/f) to join our Estoril clinic. You will provide nursing care across the clinic and support patients undergoing dialysis.

The role offers a monthly gross salary between €1,654 and €2,284, plus initial and ongoing training, professional development, and integration into a multidisciplinary team delivering high‑quality patient care. Fluency in Portuguese is required; English is an advantage.

Qualifications

• Nursing degree and a valid professional nursing licence.
• Experience in dialysis techniques is valued but not required.
• Fluency in Portuguese; English is an advantage.
• Knowledge of quality management systems is valued.
• Strong communication, teamwork, initiative and critical thinking.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care across the different clinical settings within the clinic.
• Ensure the implementation of quality and safety standards based on best clinical practice and evidence-based care.
• Accurately document nursing interventions in a timely manner.
• Promote patient and family empowerment, autonomy and adherence to treatment.
• Communicate effectively with patients and their families.
• Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives, training and professional development activities.
• Contribute to the organisation and management of the nursing team's workload and activities.
