Job summary

Axtan Capital is seeking a Creative Director to lead the creative direction and content production across its brands and projects in Portugal. You will shape how we communicate on video, social media, campaigns, and digital platforms, combining leadership with hands-on production.

You will develop concepts, set standards, coordinate production, and ensure final work meets high quality. Fluency in Portuguese and English is essential for coordinating with partners and teams globally.

Qualifications

• Professional experience in creative direction, video production, or digital content.
• Strong knowledge of video production including filming, lighting, sound, and post-production.
• Experience using Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, or equivalent tools.
• Strong understanding of content for YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, and other digital platforms.
• Experience creating and reviewing visual content, including video, thumbnails, graphics, and campaign assets.
• Experience leading a creative team or coordinating external collaborators.
• Fluency in Portuguese and English.

Responsibilities

• Lead the creative direction of Axtan Capital’s content and communication.
• Define and maintain the visual and editorial standards across the company’s projects.
• Develop concepts, creative treatments, scripts, references, and production plans.
• Oversee the production of video and digital content from planning through to delivery.
• Coordinate filming, editing, design, sound, lighting, equipment, and external collaborators.
• Review final assets and provide clear, useful feedback.
• Develop content formats that can be produced consistently across social media and other digital channels.
• Improve the way ideas are translated into scripts, visuals, edits, thumbnails, and published content.
• Build a more organised production process that improves quality and speed.
• Work with the partners and project leads to ensure that creative work supports the objectives of each project.
