Head Librarian

As the Head Librarian, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing the operations of our library in Porto. Your main duties will include developing and implementing policies and procedures, managing budget and resources, and supervising staff. You will also be responsible for maintaining the library's collection, promoting its services to the community, and coordinating with other libraries and organizations. Additionally, you will stay updated on advancements in library technology and trends in information services to ensure the library remains relevant and efficient. The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in Library Science or a related field, at least 5 years of experience in a leadership role in a library setting, excellent organizational and communication skills, and a love for literature and learning. This is a full-time position with a salary of 1600$ per month, along with free visa and ticket provided by our organization.
