UrbanForm Developments in Porto is seeking a highly organized Librarian to manage the library collection, assist patrons with research, and promote library services to the community.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Library Science, knowledge of cataloguing systems, and strong communication and organizational skills. Salary offers 1,500 USD per month with accommodation; visa sponsorship is available for the right candidate who meets all requirements.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Library Science or related field.
• Previous library experience preferred.
• Knowledge of cataloguing systems (e.g., Dewey Decimal Classification).

Responsabilidades

• Organize and maintain the library collection including books, periodicals, audiovisual materials and digital resources.
• Catalogue new materials using standard classification systems.
• Assist patrons with research inquiries and finding relevant resources.
• Promote library services through outreach programs and events.
• Manage circulation of materials including checking items in/out and collecting fines/fees.
• Develop and implement policies/procedures for the library's operation.
• Train and supervise library staff members.
• Keep up-to-date with new technologies and trends in library services.
