Siemens Energy seeks a Head of Internal Controls – Technology & Digital Assurance to lead the control environment across critical technologies, ERP systems, and automated processes in Caparica, Portugal. You will drive continuous monitoring, digital controls, and analytics-based assurance, partnering with IT, Cybersecurity, and Data teams to mitigate technology risks and enable secure growth.

This role requires 10+ years in IT controls/digital risk with strong SoD and access-management

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, engineering, business, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in IT Controls, Cybersecurity, Digital Risk, IT Audit, Internal Controls, or Technology Assurance.
• Strong knowledge of ITGCs, cybersecurity frameworks, ERP systems, SoD, and access management.
• Experience supporting large-scale ERP, cloud, or digital transformation programs.
• Familiarity with data analytics, continuous monitoring, and automated control environments.
• Ability to translate complex technical risks into practical business solutions and strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
• Certifications such as CISA, CISSP, CRISC, or equivalent are highly desirable.
• Fluent English is required.

As Head of Internal Controls – Technology & Digital Assurance, you will be at the forefront of Siemens Energy's digital transformation journey. Working closely with IT, Cybersecurity, Data, and Digital teams, you will oversee the control environment supporting critical technologies, ERP systems, access management, and automated business processes. You will drive the adoption of continuous monitoring, digital controls, and analytics-based assurance, helping the organization manage technology risks while enabling innovation and secure growth.

You will also be responsible of the Siemens Energy Segregation of Duties compliance program. We are building a future-ready Internal Controls organization. We are looking for leaders who move beyond traditional control testing and act as strategic partners in risk mitigation, process excellence, digital transformation, and business performance. This role reports to the head of Internal Controls.

What You Bring
