Thomas Franks invites applications for a Head Chef at our Palmela location, Setúbal district, Portugal. You will lead a busy kitchen, create fresh seasonal menus and ensure high standards of service and kitchen hygiene.

Qualificações

• Proven experience as a head chef or senior chef in a busy kitchen.
• Ability to manage breakfast, lunch and hospitality across service periods.
• Strong knowledge of food hygiene and allergen control.
• Excellent English communication skills.
• Outstanding leadership and teamwork.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and motivate the kitchen team to deliver fresh, seasonal menus.

A coeducation international boarding school in Setubal, Portugal, offering a world-class education to children aged 4 months to 18 years. Catering for about 1500 students and teachers daily. We offer a core feeding of Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner with a coffee shop as well. This is a 7 day operation so working patterns are 5 days over 7.

We are looking for a talented Head Chef to join our team at one of our prestigious locations in Palmela.

You will be excited to work with fresh seasonal ingredients & regularly changing bespoke menus. You will be creative and have the opportunity to showcase your skillset.

Key responsibilities:

• To work well in a team, providing breakfast, lunch & hospitality.
• To produce food for service using fresh ingredients, cooking from scratch and following the companies brand standards
• Ensuring company food standards are adhered to and wastage controlled.
• Ensuring all Food Hygiene and Health & Safety policies and allergen control procedures are followed.
