Job summary
Körber in Vermoim, Portugal, is seeking an Electrical Engineer focused on automation, safety, and conveyor technology. You will design and plan electrical systems, supervise services in line with standards, and support installation activities at project sites worldwide.
You should have a degree in automation or electrical engineering (or be a technician/master craftsman) with experience in functional safety, bus systems (Ethernet, PROFINET, PROFIBUS), and EPLAN or RUPLAN.
Qualifications
- Degree in automation or electrical engineering, or equivalent training.
- Experience in automation environment and functional safety.
- Knowledge of machinery directives and standards.
- Experience with Ethernet/PROFINET/PROFIBUS.
- Experience with RUPLAN/EPLAN in sorting/distribution.
- English language proficiency required.
Responsibilities
- Plan and design electrical systems with focus on automation, safety, and conveyor technology.
- Supervise and coordinate services per applicable standards.
- Support risk assessments, PL calculations, and customer documentation.
- Define tender documents for suppliers and monitor installation activities.
- Lead hardware engineering subprojects and participate in project meetings.
