Bosch Home Comfort Portugal in Aveiro is seeking a Hardware Developer to join our engineering team. The role focuses on design and development of cutting-edge electronics, with a hybrid work model and a full-time arrangement.

You will work on analog/mixed-signal hardware, EMC testing, and PCB layout reviews, collaborating across functions to deliver safe, reliable solutions. Portuguese and English proficiency is required.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering.
• 1+ year of hardware engineering experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and test electronic hardware solutions.
• Document solution directions and designs, with a special focus on safety-related components.
• Identify opportunities for process and product improvements and actively drive their implementation.
• Select components, create schematics (including simulations), and review PCB layouts.
• Conduct verification and integration testing.
• Support and troubleshoot issues during EMC testing.
• Actively participate and contribute to all design-related activities.

Your tasks

• Design, develop, and test electronic hardware solutions.

Education & Experience

• Academic degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering.

• Proficiency in schematic design, PCB layout reviews, and circuit simulations.
• Knowledge of EMC testing and troubleshooting.

Languages
