iTRTech Group in Portugal is seeking a mid‑level Golang Developer for a hybrid role based in Lisbon, Porto, or Fundão. You will develop backend services, REST APIs, and cloud‑native microservices in Kubernetes environments, contributing to automation and platform engineering initiatives.

The role requires 3+ years of Go experience, REST API and microservices know‑how, Docker and Kubernetes expertise, CI/CD practices, and English at B2 level or higher.

Qualificações

• At least 3 years of professional software development experience with Golang.
• Strong knowledge of REST API development.
• Experience with microservices architectures.
• Knowledge of software design patterns.
• Professional experience developing cloud-native applications.
• Hands‑on experience with Kubernetes-based environments.
• Experience with Docker and containerised applications.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Experience with Git and collaborative development workflows.
• Knowledge of automation and infrastructure automation practices.
• Understanding of Cloud Engineering and Platform Engineering concepts.
• Experience with distributed and scalable systems.
• English proficiency at B2 level or higher.
• Availability to work from the office twice a week in Lisbon, Porto, or Fundão.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality backend services using Golang.
• Build cloud-native applications and microservices for Kubernetes-based environments.
• Develop REST APIs and platform services supporting a unified cloud platform.
• Contribute to Kubernetes operators, controllers, and automation frameworks.
• Collaborate with Platform Engineering, Cloud, DevOps, and SRE teams.
• Improve deployment, monitoring, and operational processes.
• Implement CI/CD best practices and automation pipelines.
• Participate in troubleshooting, debugging, and performance optimisation.
• Ensure the reliability, scalability, and security of developed services.
• Contribute to architectural discussions and technical design decisions.
• Apply software engineering best practices, including automated testing, code reviews, and technical documentation.
• Work effectively within Agile/Scrum and geographically distributed teams.
