Job summary

Grünenthal Group in Portugal is seeking an experienced Quality Assurance professional to oversee supplier quality and GMP compliance within our ESQ framework. This role partners with global departments to maintain high standards across the supply chain and CMOs, driving improvements and audits.

You will assess quality systems, manage CAPAs, and support regulatory readiness while traveling up to 40% for supplier visits and audits.

Qualifications

• University degree in Chemistry, Pharmacy or Engineering with experience in production or quality assurance in pharma.
• At least 4 years’ experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
• Auditing experience and knowledge of international GxPs and ISO norms.
• Strong understanding of cGMP and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee GMP supplier network and ensure compliance across QA activities.
• Lead supplier quality oversight, CAPAs, deviations, and change management.
• Plan and conduct supplier audits (onsite, remote, postal).
• Collaborate with VSOT/ESO and other teams to support product lifecycle activities.
• Support regulatory inspections and participate in quality improvement projects.
