Our client is a leading global pharmaceutical company and they are looking for a Global Quality Systems Director.

The role will be based in Lisbon, Portugal and will be focused on shaping the global quality strategy and driving transformation, scalability, and operational maturity across the network over the coming years.

Responsibilities

• Lead the global Quality Management System (QMS) strategy, ensuring scalable, compliant, and inspection-ready quality processes across multiple sites.
• Drive quality systems and digital transformation initiatives, including eQMS governance, quality analytics, data integrity, and performance reporting.
• Define and standardise global quality policies, governance frameworks, and compliance practices to ensure consistency across the organisation.
• Oversee inspection readiness, internal audit programs, and regulatory compliance activities, acting as a key leader during customer and health authority inspections.
• Partner with Quality, Operations, IT, and business stakeholders to strengthen quality culture, continuous improvement, and operational excellence across the global network.
